Contributor Guidelines

Perspectives is StableState’s op-ed column. It runs informed argument from people working in or close to Asia Pacific digital assets. If you have a view backed by real experience or evidence, this is where it goes.

What we want

A clear argument, grounded in your own work or in evidence you can show. Original insight, not a restatement of consensus. Relevance to the region or to a global development with a real Asia Pacific read. We would rather run one sharp claim defended well than a survey of everyone else’s.

Length

[Suggested 800 to 1,500 words. Confirm before you commit to it.]

Voice

Short declarative sentences. Claims sourced. No hype. The same accuracy bar applies to Perspectives as to everything else on the site. If a point is uncertain, say so.

Byline and credit

Pieces run under your name with a short bio and a link to a verified profile. This is a named column, not ghost-written house copy. We expect contributors to share and promote their own piece. Your audience is part of why the column works.

Editing

We edit lightly, for clarity and accuracy, not to change your view. You see any changes before publication.

Disclosure

Declare any commercial interest relevant to the topic. We will note it on the piece. A disclosed interest is fine. A hidden one is not.

Originality

Pieces should be original to StableState, or clearly cross-posted with permission and a canonical link. [Decide your cross-posting policy and state it here.]

How to pitch

Send a short outline, two or three lines on the argument and why you are the person to make it, to charu@stablestate.co. [Confirm whether you want full drafts or outlines first.]
